Coated Glass

Low-emissivity (Low-E / LoE) glass during the winter months greatly reduces heat loss by reflecting radiant heat back into your home - which helps with comfortable indoor temperatures, and reduces the need for excessive heating. During the summer months, LoE coatings reflect away the sun's heat, keeping your electricity costs lower, and your home cooler. Joyce offers an array of different coated glass specialty formulated based on the climate zone you live in for optimal performance during any season.

Warm Edge Technology

Super Spacer is the best performing glass spacer in its class - offering better thermal performance compared to other spacer systems. Its the warmest edge among dual-seal systems, offering up to 14.4℉ / 8℃ warmer at the edge of the glass when its 0°F/-17.8°C outside.

Better Durability

The P-1 test, the world’s toughest IG durability test, exposes units to 140°F (60°C), 95-100% humidity and constant UV bombardment. Each week of testing is approximately equivalent to one year of field use. Super Spacer® sealed units have been shown to have up to nine times the life expectancy* of single seal insulating glass systems available on the market today.

Metal Can't Bounce Back

Super Spacer offests the effects of temperature changes, barometric pressure, wind load and glazing pressure. Rigid metal and plastic spacers cannot compensate for the natural expansion and contraction that occurs daily in insulating glass. Without all-foam Super Spacer, windows can develop stress cracks that eventually lead to seal failure. Super Spacer’s 100% memory formula will stand up to a wide range of temperatures expanding and contracting, but it will always return to its original shape.

Health Smart Windows

Foam blocks the heat escape path and provides one of the best thermal performances in the industry. When heat escapes at the edge of the glass, condensation can occur which can lead to bacteria and molds. With Super Spacer's warm edge technology, it dramatically reduces condensation, allowing for comfortable household humidity levels.

Enhanced Noise Reduction

The NO-Metal Super Spacer offers superior sound absorption compared to conventional metal spacers, significantly reducing noise levels. Its advanced foam technology effectively lowers external sounds, resulting in improved Sound Transmission Class (STC) performance.

Argon Gas

SmartShield Glass incorporates Argon gas between the panes of glass for enhanced insulation and even better thermal performance. Argon is applied using a state-of-the-art gas chamber for consistent and superior results. Combined with the foam technology of Super Spacer, units tested show a loss of less than 1% Argon gas in 5-years of service life simulation

Cleaner...Greener...with Neat+

Neat+ is a durable and permanent coating applied to the exterior glass surface comprised of titanium dioxide. It uses static dissipation to reduce the amount of dust on the glass surface; then with help from the sun, it will break down greenhouse gases and other pollutants - keeping your exterior viewing area clearer, cleaner for longer compared to uncoated glass.
