Joyce consistently undergoes rigorous testing of its products to secure certification within the fenestration industry through the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC). The NFRC is dedicated to developing and administering comprehensive energy and rating programs, catering to both the public and private sector. Keystone plays a pivotal role in empowering manufacturers like Joyce through our comprehensive third-party certification, inspection, and quality assurance programs. These initiatives serve as a robust framework for showcasing compliance with a spectrum of benchmarks, including energy efficiency programs, the ENERGY STAR® program, building codes, marketing claims, and utility or tax rebate programs.

The Insulating Glass Certification Council, Inc. (IGCC) is a nonprofit organization with the mission of promoting the public interest and participants’ business interests by upholding the highest standards in insulating glass manufacturing. Through collaboration with suppliers, fabricators, and non-industry members, IGCC develops and maintains standards for excellence. Their Certification Program ensures that insulating glass manufacturers meet established standards through periodic inspections and testing by independent laboratories. The program is directed by participants and a Certification Committee, managed by an impartial administrator and the IGCC Board of Governors. IGCC remains adaptable to technological changes, developing guidelines through open discussions and applying them consistently to all participants.
